New arrivals for spring 2013

Dogwoods: We are expecting a wonderful crop this spring. The dry warm summer and fall that we experienced last year has provoked an abundance of flower buds. So expect a colorful Dogwood spring. Ornamental Flowering Cherries: Two new intros; "Little Twist" and "Extrazam". "Little Twist" is a true dwarf flowering cherry that finishes 6-8' tall and blooms with soft pink flowers on irregular stems and attractive fall foliage color. "Extrazam" offers a weeping form of the long time favorite "Kwanzan" Cherry again with attractive  fall color Both should arrive in a few weeks, just in time for their early spring blossoms. Magnolias and Forsythia stock will be replenished with some fantastic knock your socks off PJM Rhododendron. Redbuds: New additions will include a new weeping variety called "Traveller" with coppery colored new growth, "Burgundy Hearts" that has greater purple-leafed staying power than"Forest Pansy" and our favorite "The Rising Sun" which produces copper and gold colored new leaves on top of green all season long.
